Mike Magnani, Secretary-Treasurer and Helen Green, President, present Heather Cannon with a $5,000 Teamsters Local 995 Scholarship and $,1700 Teamsters Joint Council 42 Scholarship, with her father, Lonnie Cannon, Caesars Palace Valet, in attendance. "I am so appreciative and grateful for being chosen to receive two scholarships from the Teamsters Union. This is a great honor. With these scholarships I will have more opportunities to achieve the goals that I have set and further my education. This has been exciting for me and will definietly help me prepare for the future," said Heather Cannon "I'd just like to congratulate Heather because she's done a lot of work and taken school very seriousely. As a family we are very honored in being selected to have her be the recipient of the Teamsters scholarship. I thank Teamsters for all they have done in helping support my family, job security and all the other benefits. I am extremely grateful for all they have done. I have three children in school already and am very fortunate and very blessed in all they have done," said Lonnie Cannon.
